SAN (Storage Area Network) is created using the infrastructure designed specifically to handle large amounts of data. It is a type of network intended for data transfer (SCSI queries) between servers and disk arrays.

 

How does it work?

Step 1 Designing and building a SAN network using:

  • network cards that support protocols used in SAN networks (FCoE, FC, iSCSI),
  • switches dedicated to DC solutions that ensure low latencies and high speeds of data transfer, as well as the support for relevant protocols,
  • scaling the server, storage array and backup systems in accordance with customer’s requirements.

Step 2 Commissioning a SAN network that can use the possibility of the connection of servers with disk arrays and tape libraries of different manufacturers. Thanks to this, they are able to transfer very quickly really impressive amounts of data.
